Dogs are certainly more loyal in most respects and have the upper hand in terms of intelligence.

They can remember up to 50 commands and learn quickly. Cats remember far fewer commands and many are unable to recognize their owner by sight alone. Meaning if you leave your house and close the door the cat does not understand that you are still outside the door. Dogs on the other hand understand that you will be coming home,

and anticipate your arrival.

I’ve never understood why science and God aren’t compatible. I consider myself a faithful believer and the way I see it, science is the explanation of what God does. I believe both sides to be correct. Scientists have every right to explore how things work and come up with facts and theories based on what we know. I think God even smiles at this effort and thinks, “Well… you’ve almost got it. Keep trying.” I do think, however, that we should have the humility to allow faith to guide us and be thankful for the things we can explain as well as the things we can’t.
